Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge but I am not worried about the future of the universe. I love working with passionate people who want to help address climate change and poverty. Even so, it is those who know little, and not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science. However, I believe that the universe will continue whatever happens, but the future of the human race and of life on earth is much less certain. By thinking and experimenting outside the square, we can save ourselves from the danger of destroying ourselves by our greed and stupidity.
